The push into "adulthood"

I have been very well taken care of by my Daddy my entire life. I never realized just how blessed or spoiled I was until that day came. The day when I decided to say "I do" to the love of my life. Don't get me wrong. That day was the best day of my life, but also the day when everything started to change.

Before the best day of my life took place my parents paid for many things. I was never worried if I came up short on my bills because I would just put in a quick phone call to Daddy to have money transferred into my account. This was rarely done, but I always knew that the option was out there. I also knew that I could excercise that phone call if I wanted an expensive item that I did not want to pay for. This option was excercised a little bit more frequently.

About a week after I said "I do" to the love of my life, I get an e-mail from my lovely father asking me to get my own car insurance and pay for my cell phone bill. The nerve of him. And, by e-mail, come on man! But, let me note, my hubby stepped up and helped to takee care of things. So, I guess I am going to have to get used to a new way of life. But, Daddy, why?!?!?!
